V turns 6

V wanted a pool party at her Nana's with some friends from school.  We sent out invites (she wanted to invite 1/2 boys and 1/2 girls)

She had about 6 kids come.  They hopped into the shallow end. V went to the deep end, jumped in, touched the 10 foot bottom, then swam 3 feet under the surface to where her friends where.  A dad quipped, "so... she's taking lessons at the Y or something?"

 

We tried my first attempt at ice cream cake:

It was delicious!

  Val got a bunch of Shopkins from her friends.

 

Everyone seemed to have a nice time.
