V's 5th Birthday

V turned 5 and had been informing me since May that she was "having a princess party with people from school at our house."

V had 8 guests.  We used decorated Princess paper parts to decorate our goodie bags while people arrived.  Then we played put the Kiss on the Frog-I cut out the lips and P drew the frog for me.

We had a pinata, a treasure hunt and made princess cookies in a jar (that was a little complicated for this age group, but the girls seemed to like it).

 

 

Then we brought out the frosted cupcakes and let the girls decorate them with sprinkles before they ate them and played outside until it was time to go home.

 

We seemed to have just the right amount of activities planned for the 2 hour party but it was busy going from thing to thing...
